New Mission District of Australia

The 31 July 2012 the Mission district of Australia came into being. This is made up of the Mission Area of Australia and Mission communities of Papua New Guinea, Bangladesh and the Solomons.

Sr Jacinta has been appointed the Mission District Leader. Sr Jacinta was born in Samoa and came to this position from the Solomon Is. Sr Louise Runne (Bougnaville) and Sr Julienne Hayes-Smith complete the leadership team.

They wish to continue to ‘release the energy for mission’ and so ‘Planning’ and ‘Collaboration’ are two words they are using frequently as they set out their goals for the next two years.
