Opening of Ongoing Formation Programme for Sisters in Temporary Vows, Philippines

We, six temporary vows SMSM sisters came from different countries where we serve as missionaries. Presently we are in the Philippines for 8 months of ongoing formation. Sr Sesilia from New Zealand, Sr Alakoka from Tonga, Sr Teukeuke from Kiribati, Sr Esther from D.R of Congo, Sr Maria Fe from the Philippines and Sr Monica from Samoa.

On Monday, April 8, we officially began our formation program with the Eucharist celebrated in our Chapel by Fr Fernando Ingente sm.

The following day, the Marist family organized an evening preceded by a Eucharist celebration to welcome us to the Philippines. It was a good experience to meet members of the different branches of the Marist family.

After the Mass, we shared a meal and enjoyed the spontaneous entertainment which fostered our Marist family spirit.
