For the Role of Women 

Pope Francis also invites us to pray “that the dignity and richness of women be recognized in all cultures, and for an end to the discrimination women suffer in various parts of the world.”

Let us continue to remember in our prayers:

• Those who lead nations that they may be servants of the people they govern.

• Those who live in situations of violence and war and persecuted Christians.

• SMSM communities that they may be places of shared joy, faith, welcome and hospitality. 

• The speedy issuing of visas for SMSMs waiting to begin new mission ventures and those waiting to begin their postulancy.

• The new Marist collaborative mission in Turkey and all associated with it.

• Ourselves, that we may be ministers of gentleness and compassion especially to those who are fearful, lonely or unloved.
